ROAD & ACRE HAMPSHIRE

Sell Your Vehicle

A conversation first.
A valuation second.

If you've looked after a vehicle properly, it deserves a buyer who can tell the difference, and a brokerage that doesn't rush you into a number before anyone's asked a single question about it.

How it works

Four steps. No pressure at any of them.

Tell us about it

A few details through the form below, or a phone call if you'd rather: make, model, history, and anything you think matters that a form wouldn't ask.

A real conversation

Alex will call, usually within a day, to talk through the vehicle properly, not to extract a quick answer, but to understand what you actually have.

We come to you

Wherever it's kept, we'll arrange a visit to see the vehicle in person. No trailer to a car supermarket forecourt, no waiting in a queue of appointments.

A fair offer, made plainly

Either an outright purchase, or (for the right vehicle) a place in the collection on a sale or return basis, so you share in what it eventually sells for. Either way, one clear number, with the reasoning behind it.

What we're looking for

Not every vehicle. The right ones.

We buy 4x4s, estates and country vehicles with a documented history and evidence of proper care: galvanised or sound chassis work, invoiced servicing, and an owner who can talk about the vehicle rather than just the paperwork. Condition matters less than honesty about that condition.

A few common questions

Do you charge a fee to sell outright?

No. If we buy your vehicle directly, the price we agree is the amount you receive. Nothing is deducted afterwards.

How does sale or return work?

Your vehicle joins the collection on a sale or return basis (sometimes called consignment): we handle preparation, photography, marketing and every viewing, keep you updated as enquiries come in, and manage the paperwork and handover when it sells. You receive an agreed share of the final price, usually the better outcome for a vehicle with real provenance behind it.

How is a valuation reached?

By comparing your vehicle's real condition and history against what similar, honestly-kept examples have actually achieved, not a generic guide price that ignores the difference care makes.

What if you decide it isn't right for the collection?

We'll tell you plainly, and why. Where we can, we'll point you towards someone better suited to it. That call costs you nothing and takes nothing from you either.

How quickly can this happen?

A conversation within a day, a visit usually within a week, and payment on the day we collect, though we'll never rush you faster than you're comfortable with.

What happens to the vehicle's history?

It becomes the beginning of its Keeper's Record with us: everything you can tell us gets kept alongside everything the next keeper adds.
